The San Francisco Pride Parade is one of the largest and most legendary LGBTQ+ celebrations in the world, bringing together hundreds of thousands of marchers, advocates, and spectators. Hundreds of unique contingents — representing community groups, non-profits, local businesses, and performance groups — march down Market Street to advocate for equality, celebrate our culture, and assert our collective liberation.

Grandstand Seating

The Parade Route
Start Location
Beale Street & Market Street at 10:30 AM
Parade Path
Travels directly along Market Street. Distance of approximately 1.6 miles.
End Point
Civic Center Plaza. Join the street fair celebration immediately following the parade!
Parade Grandstands
The San Francisco Pride Parade draws huge crowds along Market Street. Secure comfortable seating and learn how to optimize your viewing experience.
Main Grandstands
The main grandstands are located on Market Street near Civic Center. This prime section is situated right next to the Panel of Pride Judges, who award official contest ribbons to outstanding contingents as they pass.

Tips for Parade Day
Arrive Early
Popular viewing spots along the sidewalk fill up extremely fast. We suggest arriving 1–2 hours before the 10:30 AM start time.
Take Public Transit
Market Street is fully closed to vehicle traffic all day. BART and Muni stops (Embarcadero to Civic Center) are your absolute best options.
Stay Hydrated
June in San Francisco can bring unexpected weather. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and wear layers for standard SF microclimates.
