Parade Contingent Logistics & Staging
Parade Contingent Instructions
All contingents, coordinators, and marchers please review these instructions in their entirety. We recommend that contingent leads share these staging and logistics details with everyone who will be participating in your group. Official confirmation packets with your final contingent number and specific line-up location will be emailed to your group's contact person in mid-June.
Mandatory Training Video
Before participating, all contingents must review the official SF Pride Parade Contingent Training and Safety Guidelines.

Parade Route Map
Getting to Assembly
We recommend public transportation. The assembly area is easily accessible by MUNI or BART via the Embarcadero Station (South of Market exits). Parking is not permitted in the assembly area. Driving anywhere near the assembly area is extremely difficult.
No Sound/Music at Staging
With residences nearby and Parade staff communicating instructions, please keep sound checks minimal/soft. Keep music turned off until entering the Parade route.
Accessibility Waiting Area
Located near the bocce courts on the Don Chee Way hardscape. Please note that dedicated seating will not be available, other than the existing public bench seating. You can join your contingent as they march by. Riders in vehicles should remain with their vehicle.
Portable Toilets
Located at the northern end of each block. Please note that toilets will not be available at the Don Chee Way waiting area. Do not use toilets as changing rooms.
Parade Route
The parade kicks off at 10:30 AM sharp with the Dykes on Bikes / Women’s Motorcycle Contingent. The parade follows west on Market Street from Spear/Beale Streets, ending at Market and 8th Street, turning south (left) onto 8th.
Parade Flow
Contingents enter in order (Block A, then B, etc.). We strive to keep it moving, but delays happen. Not everyone needs to be in position early—only one person is needed to secure your spot.
