Attendees can expect to see a visible and robust security presence throughout the event.
San Francisco Pride is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all participants at our annual parade and celebration. The safety and well-being of our attendees are our top priorities.
For the safety and security of all guests, staff, and performers at the San Francisco Pride Celebration, with the support of the municipal, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as local security companies, we have planned a robust security plan that includes weapon detection technology at each access point. We have expanded the main entry and have a total of 4 entry points to the Celebration.
Please take the time to review the bag policy and prohibited item list. To avoid delay at the entrances, please do not bring the listed prohibited items. To make the most of your experience, please arrive with only the essentials, remember to stay hydrated, and help us create a positive atmosphere for everyone.
All bags and belongings being brought onto event grounds are subject to search.
SF Pride encourages everyone to not bring any type of bags to the celebration, but we will allow bags that comply with the following:
We encourage attendees to only bring essential items to the Celebration.
A limited number of clear bags will be available for purchase to support the San Francisco Street Fair Coalition. If you are a photographer or journalist and you have non-compliant camera bags, etc., please see sfpride.org/media .
There will be a coat check available at the Celebration for those who need to store items that do not comply with the policy. The coat check is located at the entrance of the Celebration on GROVE at MARKET.
Coat check is available for a small fee of $5 per item. Please note that the coat check is not responsible for lost or stolen items, so please keep your belongings secure.
Bags should not have buckles, grommets/hardware or décor that conceals any part of the bag's contents.
The following items are not permitted:
