Celebrating excellence in Pride Parade contingents
Every year, a diverse panel of judges gives out award ribbons to deserving contingents as they march along the Parade route.
Awarded to those contingents with great emotional content, message, or outstanding presentation.
Awarded to contingents with two or more people walking or marching; no float or vehicles
Awarded to outstanding contingents that best incorporate the theme, "Queer Joy is Resistance"
Awarded to outstanding contingents with live music, chorus or music as their key element
Given to the best of the best, as determined by public poll.

We are proud to introduce this year's panel of judges, each bringing their unique perspectives and experiences to the celebration of Pride.
Troy is an HIV/AIDS positive volunteer, fundraiser, activist, and lover of Joy. Troy serves as a group leader for the National AIDS Memorial Grove and Quilt, ambassador for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation Dining Out for Life and has been a "Star Walker" for the AIDS Walk San Francisco for the past 15 years.
Elizabeth works for California State Parks as an Interpreter, sharing her love for the history and nature of Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park. She believes that parks belong to everyone and everyone is welcome!
Arturo is the Founder & Director of Ensamble Folclórico Colibrí. Arturo, a queer dancer and choreographer, started his dance training at the age of ten at the Casa de la Cultura of Jerez, Zacatecas, México.
Juan Serrano is the Co-Director of Ensamble Folclórico Colibrí. A native of Michoacán, Mexico, Juan began his community service at an early age as a dance professor in under-served villages.
Joe was the Operations Trainer at SFO for Alaska Airlines, where he worked for 36 years, until his retirement in 2020. He is a native California Latino who grew up in the Sierras by Lake Tahoe.
Sister Eva Lynn Goode is a nonbinary drag nun by night and a queer teacher by day. They create a safe space for queer youth at an Oakland school where they earned tens of thousands of dollars in grants to support queer and trans youth across the district.
Sr. Kay serves the community as Web Mistress for TheSisters.org and helps organize the San Francisco Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence Grants program which awards tens of thousands of dollars every year to grassroots activists and organisations.
Sr. Merry Peter found her vocation through the Radical Faeries in 1987, taking her vows around a campfire from Sister Missionary P. Delight a founder of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a drag order of nuns dedicated to joyful service and activism.

The San Francisco Trans March is San Francisco's largest transgender Pride event and one of the largest trans events in the entire world. It's always the Friday of Pride weekend and thousands of people attend.
