San Francisco Pride is a nonprofit organization that produces the SF Pride Parade and Celebration. We are dedicated to education, celebration, and liberation for the LGBTQIA+ community and our allies.

About the position

The Community Engagement Manager is a full-time, salaried, exempt role responsible for outreach and partnership-building. Starting in January, the incumbent will implement community programs, accessibility supports, and communications strategies, and will manage community grants and awards programs.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement community grants cycle and reporting
  • Coordinate accessibility services and community support contractors
  • Administer awards programs (Grand Marshal, Heritage of Pride)
  • Manage social media, marketing communications, and membership engagement
  • Serve as primary point of contact for community inquiries

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in program management, community outreach, or communications
  • Strong writing, editing, and social media management skills
  • Experience with grant management and accessibility best practices

Salary and benefits

This position offers an annual salary of $70,125 along with a benefits package.
