What Happens Next?

Within 48 Hours - Confirmation Email

You'll receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your application with a reference number. Please check your spam folder if you don't see it.

Within 2 Weeks - Initial Review

Our fiscal sponsorship committee will conduct an initial review of your application. We may reach out if we need clarification or additional documentation.

30-60 Days - Comprehensive Evaluation

Applications are reviewed quarterly by our leadership team. We evaluate mission alignment, financial viability, administrative capacity needs, and community impact. Selected applicants will be invited for an interview.

60-90 Days - Decision & Next Steps

You'll receive notification of our decision. If approved, we'll work with you to establish the fiscal sponsorship agreement, set up financial systems, and begin the partnership. If not approved, we'll provide feedback and alternative resources when possible.

Important Reminders

  • Review Timeline: Applications are reviewed quarterly. The review process takes 60-90 days from submission.
  • Approval Not Guaranteed: SF Pride receives more applications than we can accommodate. We prioritize programs with strong mission alignment, demonstrated impact, and sustainable operations.
  • Alternative Resources: If fiscal sponsorship through SF Pride isn't the right fit, we're happy to suggest other fiscal sponsors or resources in the nonprofit ecosystem.
  • Stay in Touch: You're welcome to update us on major developments with your program during the review period.
